Nootka Island Lodge sits amid the quiet virgin timber of cedars, spruce and firs and the calming waters of Nootka Sound in British Columbia, Canada. Our peaceful lodge offers comfortable rooms both single and double occupancy. The lodge accommodates up to 20 guests comfortably so we are an excellent choice for groups, family outings and retreats.
Whether you are fishing, dining, enjoying a favorite beverage or appetizer, sharing your day's fishing adventure or just relaxing, you will always feel you are among close friends.
Dining is 'Family-Style' with individualized service from our attentive staff. We serve appetizers and complimentary beverages every evening. The Cyr Family have owned and operated Nootka Island Lodge for 37 years. Welcome to our Lodge!
My Dad (Terry Cyr) and Mom (Bette-Anne Cyr) purchased the old town site of Nootka, where the cannery was located, in 1982. We built and opened the Lodge in 1983 at this site. My Wife, Sandy and I have worked at the lodge since it opened. We bought out my parents twenty years ago and now Sandy and I, along with our children, Matt and Katie, who have grown up at the lodge, and their spouses, we work as a team to bring you a memorable fishing adventure.
We now welcome the fourth generations of Cyr’s at the Lodge with the birth of Carter Cyr (Matt and Kym's son) and Austyn Mangles (Katie and Ash Mangles' daughter). We are a family dedicated to providing you the experience of a lifetime - that is the essence of Nootka Island Lodge.
